✅ A. Classification based on mode of entry
✨Stomach poison - Insecticide applied on leaves and other plant part when in greeted all on the digestive system of the insect and bring about kill. THB hope of poisoning is limited mainly to the chewing insect.
✨ Contact poison - When insect in contact with poison are usefull in the control of sucking pest.
✨ Fumigant - Toxicant is gaseous state, penetrate through tracheal System and kill pest.

✨ a. Physical poison
Toxicant which brings about kill of insect by exerting physical effect called as physical poison e.g. heavy oil, tar oil etc cause the death of insect due to asphyxiation i.e. by exclusion of
air.
✨ b. Protoplasmic poison
A toxicant responsible for precipitation of protein.
Especially destruction of cellular protoplast of mid gut epitheiium
e.g. heavy metals, such as Cu, Hg, fatty acids.
